Now Hiring - Sales Manager in Columbia Falls, MT

Mountain View Hearth Products is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our small but dynamic team. MVHP is the leader in replacement parts for the hearth industry. We sell repair parts for fireplaces, woodstoves, and pellet stoves.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for providing sales and technical service to all wholesale customers. They will also be responsible to lead the sales growth in our wholesale division, developing and implementing sales strategies specific to the hearth industry, and achieving sales targets with the intention of growing the department.

We are seeking an ideal candidate who is highly motivated and possesses a proven track record in technical sales. They should demonstrate excellent leadership skills and have a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients in the hearth industry. It's important to note that this position requires a fair amount of autonomy as you will be the sole team member in this division at present.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by conducting market research, analyzing competitor activities, and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the hearth industry, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any technical concerns or issues that may arise.
• Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the management team, including sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, and KPIs.
• Stay informed about hearth industry products, technical specifications, building codes, and safety regulations to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs.
• Continuously assess and improve sales processes, tools, and techniques to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team.
• Communicate with customers via phone and email.
• Process sales orders, returns, and warranty claims.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven track record of success in sales, with at least 3 years of experience in a sales management role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve targets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients.
• In-depth knowledge of hearth industry products, technical specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Knowledge of sales techniques, market research, and CRM software.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
